Known as a closing prayer in religious services, the word itself is not religious. A definition of benediction is “an utterance of good wishes” *, or a blessing. Everything has its season and when seasons end, another begins. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. He stands at the beginning and end of those seasons, and He is also in the middle of all of them.
Every article I have written and posted here is of the eternal NOW and IS. The past and future are contained in our present, IN this eternal NOW. All is happening and unfolding as God has shown me, and I am united with His meanings. And, if others have written the same things, praises be to God for it! There is no competition for all comes from the Father.
Concerning truth, it is a Person, and He will not be found in religion. Religion is spiritually dead. Labels of ministry are dead. All clergy has been replaced by our Great High Priest, Christ Jesus. God is HERE, NOW, in each man’s space, and nothing needs to be accomplished, for it has all been done. All have been reconciled to God (Romans 5:17), and all will have their season of visitation, or "awakening" (1 Cor 15:23, Romans 13:11). For the awakened, we need only adhere to, rely on, and trust in God, and BE. God did a finished work at Calvary, and HE is all there is! "We" are no more. (Gal 2:20)
In spite of this truth, however, religious leaders in all degrees continue to ride the dusty merry-go-round of tradition and organized worship, circling the same desert ground and producing nothing but old, dead words, always falling short of entering the Promised Land. Their echoes fall flat in the night, fading more and more as the procession crossing the Jordan goes on without them. Religious minds and carnal minds are watching for outward changes (doctrinal & bodily) that totally distract them from the restorative work that is happening right now! The Kingdom of God comes WITHOUT observation, for it is an inner kingdom and the work is within: Luke 17:20-21.
Yet, through spiritual discernment by the Holy Spirit we will see the works that Father is doing, and we will be amazed that all is happening outside of any kind of religious contamination. As He works in secret, the outward adjustments come into view. Minds change, lives change, homes, businesses and governments change. No ministries or ministers will get any credit! While those promoting their own kingdoms will be disappointed, there is great cause for rejoicing! God is in total control of His creation!
